RE: Power Tongue Jacks

I have an Ultra-Fab and have power problems with it. They have sent me a new switch, fuse holder and fuse but it do not have much faith in it. It is only 5 months old and I have kept it covered from elements. It does not appear to have enough power to raise TT and I have the 3500 series and using it on a 4600lb. ultra light.

RE: Loading generator into truck

I have thought about mounting generator in lawn wagon (4 wheel) and then using aluminum ramps to unload. You can lock wagon in back of truck or tt as easy as you can the generator.

RE: Power jack blew fuse/melted wires

I have had a problem with Ultr Fab. 3500. No melting wires. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I installed it. I tried ground check as mentioned on there web site and that did not solve problem. I think my problem maybe in fuse holder. I emailed them yesterday and got a call from service rep @ noon today. They are sending me a new fuse holder, fuse and switch @ no cost. Hope this will solve problem. At least they offered prompt service.

RE: Twin Lakes, Chicowonity, N. C.

I camped there a couple of years ago. There are a few shaded sites for overnighters. There are alot of seasonal and permant campsites. I might stay there again. I'm thinking Tranters Creek is better. The locals seemed a little clickess to me.

Hook TT up to tow vehicle, raise old tongue jack and tack off A-frame. Then you will not run risk of putting to much weight on stabilizers.
